I have a JVC Everio GZ-MG132EK HDD camcorder with 3 years worth of video on it and I think it's time to remove the video and make a number of DVDs with it. What software is out there that will aid my quest? (preferably free of course!)
dvdflick is free and can handle most file formats to make a dvd. But this is a pure convertor, ,it won't edit your video.
If you want to make a "fancypants" type video production with transitions, frame accurate editing, second audio tracks, cropping etc. You need paid software womble mpeg video wizard dvd 4.0 is a very good one that can handle mpeg/avi/mp4/mov.
Theres also a good chance when you bought your camera, there was a video editing software included in the box. that's another option for you.
You Could try NeroVision, or Pinnacle's Studio, and I Think Even Movie Maker May Help you. Movie Maker Comes with Windows XP and Vista It Eve comes with a Capture Program that will get the Video from the Camera to the Computer. But You Must have the Camera's Driver loaded on the Computer.
