Hi folks video noob at large......I recently used convertXtoDVD to back up some vids for my grand kids and allow them to play on their TV. The video portion is fine but the audio sounds like it is in permanent fast forward. I've burned five coasters using different settings in the audio when I decided to ask the pros......ver. 4.1.7.343 is what I'm using.

Any hints will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you....
Graystroke....

Can you not save the output to the HDD before burning?
Then you can test play it with your media player and not waste the disk.

There was an option in the Audio preferences 'Do not fix audio discontinuities' that you could select to test.

If that doesn't help, try using FAVC for the conversion.

If that also fails, suspect that the source files are the problem.

Thank you for bringing me up to speed on what the "discontinuities meant...lol...

I'll have to see how to save it to HDD for the post conversion test.....not sure how it's done but will give it a go this week.....The original play back is fine but the conversion sure is a challenge.....I'll post later this week how it went......unless you post first on how to do the HDD test...I think it's a matter of just opening the file where it was converted and just playing right....?...I'll check it right quick....Thanks......graystroke...

I don't use ConvertX, but I'm sure that it gives the option of saving to an output folder instead of immediately burning the disk.
