Are there BR players in the market that are region free? I stay in india and often receive Bluray DVDs from friends in Us. I think that Asia and US fall under different region codes. How can i see movies without worryimng about which part of the world they come from?

Are there firmware undates (official or unofficial) that will meke a sony or pioneer Bluray player region free?
