I am a new registered member. I have been viewing this forum and site for a number of years now, but never got an account until now.

Okay with that out of the way, I have purchased 2 blu-rays recently. They are used and come with a 7 day warranty. They are Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 1 and Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2. The only device that I have that plays blu-rays is my PS3. Now usually, when I buy used media, I rip the entire content of the disc onto my hard drive to verify that there wouldn't be any read errors when listening/watching/playing.

In this case, I cannot do that since I do not have a blu ray drive for a computer. I know that the data on blu-ray discs are more closely packed together (at least to my knowledge; i could be wrong on this) on these physical discs. I have done a visual check on the discs and there are no scratches on them, but just like some DVDs that I have owned in the past, read errors still manage to occur despite not visually seeing anything wrong.

Is there anything that I could do that would work besides playing back every second of these blu-rays to verify that the discs are not damaged in anyway, shape or form?
