I cracked the screen on my E72 and bought a new one off Amazon to replace it. Installing it was simple enough. The screen worked fine for a few days and then started blinking white every 5 seconds or so. This only occurs after the phone screen dims. So if I restart the phone, the screen works fine untill I leave it idle, then the screen dims and starts blinking when I use it again. The other night it stoppef blinking for some reason, and worked fine all night. Then the battery died and it started blinking again.

Ive tried reattaching the screen, didnt fix it. Ive also tried resetting to factory settings. I was thinking maybe of flashing the phone next if I can find my usb cable and borrow a PC. I did a google search and found one other person from a year ago with almost the exact same issue but no reply.

The fact that it works some times and only blinks after the phone dims made me think it might be a software issue, all though I have considered I may have hurt something installing it, or maybe the screen is faulty.

Any other ideas on how to resolve this issue. I apolohize if you need more info, its a pain using mobile internet, let alone when your screen blinks white every 5 seconds. Thank you.
