CFE 3.70 screwed up GEN-C. Help?

ok, i wanted to try out a new firmware, so i tried custom firmwar enabler 3.70, but i didnt like it. I tried to revert to Gen-C, but gen thinks its installed, and reboots into cfw e 3.70! i then tred installing 5.03 gen a, which worked, but once again, 5.03 gen-c installer thinks its installed! help.
BTw: its a psp 3000 using chickhen/custom firmwar enabler/5.03 GEN

I think CFE has the option to uninstall itself. Then u should install gen a
