ive followed all the steps, tried over and over. turned off Umd auto start and reset factory settings. cleaned out photo folder etc as everything ive read or seen have suggested and tried prob 100 times..
ive verified I have the files in the proper locations on my psp. and nothing!! help.. Would it be easier to install custom firmware than try and get this exploit to work?????

If you can get it to work, then you can use it to install CFW. Try a different memory stick, that can have a big differance

Ok thanks. What if I simply reformat my memory stick? would that help?? I havent tried that yet??? I dont have another but will go buy another if that may help. Is there a way to install cfw from 5.03 without having chickhen running?? Thanks.

wELL, i TRIED CHICKHEN EASY TO LOAD..FOR FAT..FOUND IT ON HERE! AND REFORMATTED MEMSTICK AND IT WORKED THE THIRD TIME. EASY.. N64 EMU DEADULUS WORKS GREAT! THANKS

weLL, i had Chickhen working great last night ~ ! until . a n64 rom made it crash hard. I guess I should have read up on which ones work well. anyway, it restarted my psp upon crashing.. hence lost chickhen.... soo . This morning I tried about 12 times to boot into Hen... no luck. so i thought back to what I did last night to make it work..
1. I had reformatted mem stick/
2. I turned off umd cache... (note.. niether of these things seemed to help..until)
3.I loaded the "easy loading" chickhen file..and.
4. something I SAW IN NONE OF THE GUIDES OR VIDEOS.. BUT I TRIED
AND SEEMED TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE BOTH TIMES..IS TAKE OUT THE BATTERY
FOR 20 SECONDS OR SO.. I REMEMBERED I HAD DONE IT LAST NIGHT AND IT WORKED..
SO , I DID IT AGAIN THIS MORNING AFTER 12 OR SO UNSUCCESSFUL TRIES . RESTARTED ETC AND IT WORKED THE FIRST TRY. THE BATTERY SEEMED TO MAKE THE DIFF FOR ME. IT NEVER WORKED OTHERWISE....
