Hey i recently purchased a psp and managed to get an eboot of mgs1.
Great game but I can't get it to run on the psp....
If i restart it with disk two selected then i get to the main screen and select new game etc... but then i am prompted with inserting disk one which I do, its in a forien language but i can just about make out that it says checking authentification of somthing like that. It then freezes on that. If I start with disk one i get the first health and saftey warning and then the ps1 logo and then another notice but then it just stays blank. Someone else had this problem here 'http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/627946' and they fixed it but i dunno... I have 5.00 M33-4 firmware and i think i have pops installed. Anyhow please help I love this game and i need it to work!
Thanks

What pops are you using to launch the game?

errrm hang on.... I'm not to sure, how do i know? i also have cwcheat whatever that is.... anyhow I did manage to get mgs to work but it was in spanish.... so i made another eboot and tried alll the different pops firwares when starting it like 3.71 etc... none worked this time :S. Would it be because I do not have the keys.bin file? If so which popstation would i use for this to create the keys.bin as well as the EBOOT? The mgs game is in two ISO files so i would need a popstation which would convert both of then into one EBOOT.

Keys.bin is a must. The latest popstation should help u generate the needed keys.bin. And as for the two iso, there's two possible solutions. Merge them or create two pops.
