Need help transferring AVI files to HD

I just bought a bigger HD for my computer today, so naturally I put my old hard drive into my PS2, and so far it's working great. But I have one burning question:How do I transfer my AVI files to HD? If I go into ulaunchelf I can copy and paste into one of the HD folders, but I'm guessing that's not recommended, and I don't have the option of keeping everything neat in a separate folder.

All help greatly appreciated=)

Edit:Just realized I posted in a PSP section. If there's an appropiate section for PS2, please move this topic there. It's early morning so really tired atm x_x
