Hey guys,
I have a PSP Go and i researched that homebrew is now playable on it, but i was also wondering if the HBL loader can play M.U.G.E.N? or is there any chance that the PSP Go can play MUGEN games? please let me know!
Thanks

You can play any homebrew that was made for the PSP systems on your PSPgo, that being said there is a PSP port of M.U.G.E.N, but its not that great. You can't just run any code, it has to be packaged and written in code that the psp can understand. Homebrews consist of a folder, inside the folder you will find something like "EBOOT.PBP" and sometimes other files. The "EBOOT.PBP" is what the PSP understands and runs.

Sorry to hijack the thread, does the PSP now have CFW that can play ISO's or CSO's?

no i did some thorough research on that, i know there hasnt been a release of PSP Go CFW, and it cant play ISO/CSO's. But back @Darknytes, thanks for the help! i looked on youtube and i found a video that uses "InfinityCat" to play MUGEN on the PSP, but it was somethn like a 5.03 M33 version of a fat PSP? would that program still work on my GO?

In theory it should worked, however the current Homebrew Loader isn't perfect, some things work, and some don't. Your just gona have to try. And I haven't heard of any CFW for the pspGO, but I will find out A.S.A.P.

There is none. Lowest PSPGo firmware: 5.70. Highest CFW: 5.50.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

it is more than likely that there will never be a CFW for the Go, the PSP2 is due out any time now and any more developments on this idea has all but been dismissed. The halfbyte loader is far from perfect, i have been trying for 2 weeks to find a nintendo 64 emulator that will work on it with no luck. i have ran more than 10 versions of daedalus and some load but that is about as far as it will go. team daedalus has stated that they will not attempt any rewrites to the app to comply with the GO because they are understanding that CFW is just right around the corner, so who knows for sure.
