I had bought a PSP awhile back, and My son got it and played a game, before it played,it updated, during the update and installation of new firmware, my son panicked, it wouldnt turn off,so he toolthe battery out,Found out,its bricked! Nothing, just a greenlight.
SOOOooo.
I finally got a hold of a pandora's battery and a new PSP, I still have the old one, But where do I go from here?
I know I need to put some files on my memory stick to install programs.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Where do I get these files or does anyone know what files to get?
Well don't worry it and easy fix.
google Rains Ultralite MMS maker. READ the instructions!!
that will make your memory card into a magic memory card.
when you've made it insert it into your psp then put the pandora battery in WHILE hollding the LEFT shoulder button.
you should be prompted with a flash menu. Install the firmware you want and presto! your psp should be up and running!
Note if you put the pandora battery in,it will auto boot your psp.
Also make sure you have and original memory card between 256Mb and 4Gb.
Using fakes work but they have a tendency to fail during the install.
Another thing make sure your battery is fully charged or the charge cable is connected.
