Can't format memory stick

I've got a san disk micro sd in a memory pro duo micro sdhc and I can't format it. it keeps saying format failed (8022008C) can anyone help.

remove the micro SD - use an SD adapter and put it into a dumb device (basic phone / camera)or plug into the computer and use Panasonics SD formatter (free - use google) then put back into the adapter and try to format with the PSP
