My PSP now has a 5.5v prom. Actually it was already downgraded from 6.31v. I tried to play FF8 under iso format (by making a folder "SLUS00892", courtesy of hako), but it was corrupted. Is there something wrong with the version of my psp? Can anyone help me please. thank you.

Do you have popsloader? It's a set of plugins that allow you to launch PS1 games. The other thing is that the ISO might be corrupted.

No. where can i download it? and how to install that? Thank you very much for your help.

You can get it here. But like I said the ISO is most likely corrupted or you placed it in the wrong folder.
