I have a photofast adaptor. I originally had a 2gb micro sd card in it, it works perfectly.
Just got a 8gb card. I placed it in the photofast adaptor and t was detected. Hooked up to PC and transfered files.
But when using the PSP to access teh card t shows nothing.
I tried formatting it on the PSP, it starts but then says no card inserted. Tred via PC, I cannot format it in FAT32, says it cannot complete format, but it can complete the format in exfat.
SO tried to format it in PSP after ecfat format, again starts but now I get a Format failed 80220087 error.
The 2gb still works fine, just this 8gb one not wanting to. CAnt test it in my phone, doesnt support cards larger than 4gb.
Anyone know a fix, or could the card be defective? the 8gb is a class 4 card
Was able to format the card on a phone that supports an 8gb card.
Place the card back into the PSP and transferred files, and it worked, even the isos.
So tested it again by formatting the card on the PSP, again starts format but then claims there is no card inserted.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
isnt a branded one. If they always source their memory cards from the same company, then I would say it's just an Integral card that has been stamped play.com instead of integral. Since their usb memory sticks are the same:
added data to that there was only 6gb free space. Formatted in PSP, again starts then claims no card inserted. but then when you go to any of the xmb menus it shows the card is there and free space is 7.7gb. SO it has formatted the card but then does something.
This is the only problem, maybe it's the photofast adaptor? But then it format the 2gb card without any problems...Card itself is working, runs isos, music photos etc. just the formatting which is baffling.
