I recently got a 16gb pro duo for my psp. I tried to put a few games on it but only 1 or 2 out of 6 will only show up. Could any one help me in this situation?

1) Is the card a real 16GB or a hacked one. To test completely get 14GB of files - it matters not what they are but small files do the test better.

Start to copy them over to the card - this takes a long time, however on hacked cards once the limit of memory is reached (say 4GB card hacked to say 16GB - so at 4GB) the remaining files transfer very quickly (these can usually be seen on the card but when you try to access them they are corrupted (hence the PSP will not see them)

2) are all the games known good games - some files will be ignored by the PSP if it does not recognise them.

Well all the games have worked on previous memory cards. I have also been able to fit about 10 gigs worth of material on it. Any other things I should look for?

The only other thing is the PSP firmware

Early versions would only accept up to 2 GB (hence the games will not save on large stick (eg Lego Starwars)

What firmware are you running, I am on 5.00m33-6 and have a 32GB stick and it works fine

Yes format it in the PSP and see if that helps, otherwse if the games are OK on other sticks it can only be a problem with the memory stick

I have spent many frustrating hours over the past day. I find that if I reformat my memory stick I can put the games on and they work. But after I quit the usb mode I go back to put more games on it doesn't show. So I only have the one opportunity to put games on then I have to reformat to get it to work. Know of anything that can cause this?
