PSP 1k and PSP 2k charging problems

Well, why is the PSP 1k is taking too long to charge, I mean I charged it for over 5 hours and its only 60%+ WTH, and then my PSP 2k no problem in here, charging time only 1hr. Can anyone tell me whats the difference between these two PSP's...

It could be that the battery from the PSP 1k is going bad and/or the battery isn't making a good connection with the PSP, thus it takes longer to charge.

I bought another battery of PSP 1k, but it's still the same, no changes at all.

Check the connection between the Battery and the PSP, theres three gold connectors. Make sure there clean and making good contact with the battery.
