PSP Go semi bricked my a MP4 file

I converted a movie to a avc mp4 for my psp go tried the file on the pc all worked fine. Transferred it to my psp go running the latest firmware. the movie started and then blank screen and I could do nothing at all. I had to hold the power button up for about 5 mins the thankfully I got ti booted again.

What caused this I have converted and played many a avc mp4 on my PSP go and this one nearly bricked it.
