I am Planning to get a PSP .But I dont want to mod it.
Mostly for casual music , movies and few games (GOW, MGS:Peace walker....which I can buy the orginal UMD)during my travel from college.Mostly busy playing TF2 on PC ...lol.
My question is - can I add personal video(tv serial,music video), music on memory stick etc without being modded ? OR I have to buy UMD for videos ..:( ?
Also , the whole modding stuff is quite confusing to me and no time to understand that.I have seen many site on tutorial , firmware upgrade/downgrade etc ; everything that is related to PSP modding applies to games only or anything else ?
i have had several psp's right now i have 3 personal ones mostly for the same reason traveling, i use the pspgo for tv shows, music, movies. there is no mod for pspgo's yet so that being said, yes you can load your own video or music files on a psp without purchasing anything. i got a program called psp video 9 if you google it i'm sure you will find it. it ask which psp you have, in my case i choose psp go, and it encodes and then you choose copy to device and its done. works like a charm.
