I have been playing ISOs and CSO for over a year now just fine, until now when i was playing Rock Band i mistakenly took out the memory stick as the game was loading, causing it to crash.

I reset the game and put the stick back in but when i tried to go into my game files, none of my games were there anymore.

They are still on the mem stick because i checked it on my pc but the PSP won't read them (it tells me there are no games)

How do i fix this? pls help me :(

Maybe your custom firmware got uninstalled. This has happened to me before.you will need to re-install it.You can have it done by a proffesional for a fee.Or you can do it your self.
Tell me what firmware you had and have. then I will post the instructions.
It is very simple.

This is a glitch in the iso/cso file. Just do the following steps

1.Connect your psp to your computer.
2.Go to X:/PSP/GAME (Where X:/ is your psp drive letter.)
3.Create an empty txt file and all the games should re-appear.
4.Go play some more RockBand ^_^

If this doesn't help, or you just want to talk to me (xD) IM me

and to Zelda: There are 2 "Game" folders in "PSP", they are "Game4XX" and "Game150"
I made an empty txt file in both but nothing happens :(

What custom firmware are you on

On 5.00m33-6 there are only 2 x game folders Game and Game 150 and it goes in the game folder not the 150.

Best solution - update to 5.00m33-06 and put something in the game folder and it should be sorted!

actually this is a known issue for rockband, when you open all the songs it makes your gamesaves invalid. the only way to save thenm is to take the card out and use a mem card reader to save your saves, so you can format the stick and drop them back in, im sure glad they didnt keep using this scheme, im kinda proud of my saves, and thought i had lost them...

Actually i found out what was happening, everytime i played Rock Band then turn off the game afterwards it somehow deletes the folder "GAME" thats why i couldnt find it before.

I recreated the GAME folder and all the games appeared again. I played Rock Band and it deleted the folder again after i turned it off.

I did what zelda told me to do and create a text document in GAME folder and now it stopped deleting itself. So thnx for that man ^.^

Off-topic here, sometimes when i play Rock Band while selecting which song to play, the cursor sometimes moves up and down crazily and random without me even touching the D-pad o.o
I'm wondering if this tends to happen with Rock Band or my psp is starting to get old. Also it tells me my memory stick has been removed sometimes after each song even tho i didnt even touch it.

HI. I have a similar problem. Bought a PSP 3000 from a dealer in Thailand. He loaded some games. After playing with it for a few days some of the games were missing. I connected to pc and can see the games folder on the psp, but does not appear when switching on psp. MC is unknown (so could be fake), the software is 5.03. I tried to create txt file in folder - did not work. I copied all files and reformatted MC and reloaded - other games are working, but iso not working. Any good advice?

When you go to system information under system settings, does it say "Version5.03" or "5.03 Gen-A" or "5.03 M33" or "5.03 MHU".
If your running on "version 5.03" that means you do not hve custom firmware installed.
Check it out and postback.
