have a psp bought second unbeknown to me ?? which comes up with unable dadada ? when trying to update? im in a right pickle attempting to remidy this and wished id never touched it.
system software 3.40 oe-a ive tried a couple of updates to no avail,please please can anyone help in very basic terms?

What have you tried -
wifi
Download a file add it to the psp/game folder (all are available on the internet)
Put in a new game - this will try to update the PSP to the firmware on the disc

If all fails then the best option is to look at a Pandora battery - this will allow you to put any firmware on the PSP

thankyou i put the update in the game/update folder but it just freezes i give up its beyond me

1) it may be a bad download

If you want to update to newer Sony firmware then using wifi is the best method (or a new game if you have no wifi)
