I'm not really sure if this belongs here, however I would like to know if there's somewhere I can get videos on my PSP or more specifically anime.
I've tried to download certain videos before, but because it wasn't in the right .MP4 format it wouldn't play.
I've also tried downloading .FLV files and playing them with PSPtube, and even though that kind of works it comes out in black and white which is really annoying. So is there any site where I could download videos from megavideo in a PSP compatible format, or is there a website where I can download anime in a PSP compatible format?
Any answer would be appreciated.
I don't want any PC software downloads either, please.
Thanks,
Again sorry if this isn't where the post belongs.

What you are asking for is piracy links, not something you can get from this site.
Best offering is
1) Google
2) SUPER converter - software that converts any format to another

So you're saying downloading anime is piracy, even though you can watch it on youtube? How different is it if I watch it on my PSP?
I could understand it to be piracy if it were a movie (Like a just released theater movie), however it's not a theater movie, and I just want to enjoy watching some anime on my PSP.
Please tell me if there's a plugin for the PSP to play video files, like a codec, that would be very nice.
Thank you for replying.
Whom are you to question me?
I asked you first.

Are you realy that naive? Of course it is piracy, as long as the creator/owner (not of the file) allows it to be downloaded. Of course it is also forbidden to upload those files on youtube too. They are protected by the copyright.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Assuming your psp has cfw; install PSPtube and then watch anime on your psp as you would on a pc.
However, I agree with the comments on piracy - just cos it's on youtube (or any similar site) doesn't make it legal.
Another option is to buy anime dvds and rip them to watch on your psp - that's what I do, it's dead easy.

Hah, PSPTube, that's a bad idea. Look, watching media on a PSP is not the smartest idea ever, even though I use my PSP for that too. =]
First of all, pirated links are not allowed on AfterDawn, so that's a no.
Second, you can get already converted movies/anime/TV Shows in .MP4 format which is native to the PSP media player on more known Torrent sites, or Warez forums most people use. Just search for "PSP Movies", or "iPod Movies". The iPod thing is because the iPod also plays .mp4 movies, so you can download a movie for an iPod, and watch it on your PSP, without any conversion.
Third, and speaking of conversions, that's the dumbest idea ever. If you're going to watch movies on a PSP - which works extremelly well, tried it myself, got tons of converted movies - then get them already converted, not wasting circca 1 hour to convert it. Converted movies are about 300MB-400MB.
If you don't know any Torrent sites, or any WareZ forums, search Google for "Warez forum". It should be the second link. Most people have their sources.
You either die as a hero,or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain...

Quote: PSPTube, that's a bad idea.
Really? It's always worked well for me.

That'll be piracy then.

And how long does it take to d/l a 400MB movie via torrents? Much less than an hour?

Hang on a minute! Didn't you just say;
Quote: watching media on a PSP is not the smartest idea ever
Converting a movie not really the waste of an hour is it? Set it going and go and do something more interesting, or batch a few up and leave it running overnight. It's the same as saying that (illegally) downloading a movie is the waste of an hour (or more).
Just because it's not something you do, doesn't make it the dumbest idea ever.

First, I'm not saying movies, everyone keeps saying movies.
Second, I just want to watch an anime series that's not on TV anymore, that I can't afford to buy.
Third, converting takes way... too long.
Fourth, I have PSPTube, and I tried playing an .flv, and it comes out in black and white.
Fifth, YouTube has videos uploaded by the creators of the said anime shows which I'm talking about, and I just want to watch it on my PSP so I have something to watch when I go places, so how is that bad, isn't it the same as watching it on YouTube, just portable?
Last, I really, really can't buy a laptop or anything related to it, since statement number 2 clearly says I can't even buy the series, just in case anyone felt like saying that.
Thank you for your time and comments.
