Hi, I'm helping a friend out which is building a computer.
Right now, me and him are busting our brains out.
Anyone know why doesn't the computer boot up? It doesn't even show any beeps, let alone any LED flash ups.
Here's the specs of the computer.
CPU: Dual Core 2
Graphic Card: None at the moment
Case: Coolermaster Haf932 Motherboard: Gigabyte EP41T-UD3L
Also, another question to make sure this doesn't cause any problem...
Does the Gigabyte EP41T-UD3L need the adapter which connects to the front panel pins (Which connects to the power switch at front, with the cables, or it doesn't need an adapter cause my friend lost it...
No, i'm sure and even double checked I turned and plugged all 3 switches on appropriately. The back switch on the case, the power outlet switch, and the cable connecting to the front push button switch.
These are usually used simply to make cabling easier, so you can plug the cables in first, then attach them as a block, it's not an adapter as such.
Have you connected all the power cables properly?
Does the PC turn on at all?
What Power supply did you use?
its the mobo i had the same problem with my gateway cept with mine the fans and stuff would spin and the hardrive would kick in but no picture on the screen, no post and no bios menu
just get a new mobo and save yourself alot of time and trouble

The PSU is the Coolermaster GX650
Also tried another PSU...don't know the exact name of it though.
And nope, it doesn't even turn on.
Hi, have you managed to get the computer working? If not then I suggest you go and get the manual for the Motherboard: Gigabyte EP41T-UD3L and check out the positioning of the power switch cables to the proper pins on the motherboard. Sounds to me like you not have the power switch from the front of the computer connected to the correct pins.
You will be able to get the manual from gigabyte site. Just google the motherboard model and you'll find an entry for it there.
