New laptop ASUS G74SX-BBK8 or Sony VPCF236FM/B

Which of the two laptops would you suggest if you had to pick one of these two? I'm not up to speed as much as the die hard techies, but I at least understand the tech talk. The main things that stick out to me other than brand is the graphis card for the ASUS is a GTX 560M whereas the Sony has a GT 540M. The Sony comes with blue ray and HD output whereas the ASUS does not.

Opinions? ANy other comparable laptop I should consider?
