Need a little help on anyone who uses the Marvel app and also its sister apps such as DC and Comics (Comixology). My current setting in notifications is "notify before updating." In this setting I get notifications asking me to "Update' a certain Comic or "Ask me later." If you choose Update, the comic doesn't automatically update. Instead it disappears from My Comics. And then you have to manually look for this again in the store to redownload it. The worse part about this is if you downloaded a comic when it was free, but at the moment no longer is. When you I try to redownload the comic, it appears that you will be charged again (to anyone who has done this successfully, please inform me if I'm wrong), because instead of a 'Down' symbol, the button states the price, $1.99. At first I assumed the process will be similar to apps, in which you can previously downloaded any app for free. However in this case when I try clicking the $1.99, the succeeding messages that pop out point to you being charged for it. I didn't really push thru, because I don't want to be charged $1.99 for a comic that I already had. On another occasion, when I change the notification setting to "Automatically Update," the same thing happens (no auto-download), and it's even worse since the comic has now disappeared from your My Comics without you knowing. I also tried turning On the setting of "show undownloaded comics in My Comics," but it doesn't help at all. I was hoping to see my previously downloaded comics there with a 'Down' symbol but it doesn't. Anyone can clarify some things to me? Do you get charged for updating a comic that you downloaded when it was free, but no longer is? What is the right process of updating comics?
Thanks in advance.
