Pros:

Small size
HDIM output

Cons:

Price - not competitive with others in the market
Limited features - doesn't support .iso, .ifo, in otherwords, no native DVD support. Remote control doesn't support DVD functions, so I should have know.

Summary: If you want something ultra small (3" x 3" x 1") and are streaming MPEGs or AVIs in a look and have to have HDMI output, it's probably a good unit. However, as a "full featured Media Player", this unit is a big disappointment.

I am returning it. It pales in comparison the the Seagate Freeagent theater (my other 2 units).

Cirago TV Mini - CTM1000 - Thumbs UP
It supports VOB files ripped from DVDs with ANYDVD and plays them upconverted from my HDD through HDMI [which I must have]. I don't understand nor appreciate the appeal of ISO files. But,my brother seems to like .iso files, too. BTW this is not a "full featured Media Player" and I did not expect it to be. The price with rebate this month @ newegg is $42.18 with shipping included. See my review there. nuf said.

"I don't understand nor appreciate the appeal of ISO files."

.iso files allow maintaining the entire DVD structure (menus, special features, etc.) in a single file.

For people who don't have the time or patience to dig through a directory structure to get to specific content, an .iso file is the simplest and most efficient way to accomplish this.

IMHO, this player is (still) not price competetive with other HDMI capable players in the market.

Newegg has priced them down for a reason.
