DVDflick shut down

I've been using DVDflick for ages but the last few days I'll begin a conversion and my PC shuts down, complete power off shutdown. Any ideas?

AMD phenom
4Gb ram
2TB hard drive

I've no other system problems, just DVDflick.

CPU heatsink plugged with cat hair, filters blocked, fans not running?
