I have FINALLY found a couple of older WWE PPV's(Royal Rumble 2008 and Hell in a Cell 2009) and want to put them to Blu-Ray. However, they are in MKV format and I don't have a program that works with it. I have programs that can convert it, but it doesn't look the same, as it looks more pixelated and compressed. It doesn't look HD at all.

Does anyone know of a good, easy to use program that can turn an MKV file into a Blu-Ray disc?

The best thing would be to play them without re-encoding. Try to convert the MKVs to AVCHD if your player supports it(most do nowadays)

I don't understand this process well either. I have tried with two different MKV's... I've tried a variety of solutions to re-mux them, nothing seems to result in a playable disk. I can play the stream on the PC fine, but when I burn to a BR-RE disk I get audio only and no video.

I remember reading that the newer MKV's are different and things like tsMuxer might not do the trick.

So, I have a 20GB MKV that I want to burn to BR-RE. Anyone got a guide with some good check points. I have tried a few and they don't work. I want to check my media before I begin... but I don't even know what I am looking for!

tsMuxerGui is easy to use. It can output .m2ts or the whole BluRay folder structure. Load the MKV file. Click the radio button at the bottom for the type of output. Select the target folder and hit the button.
