Stripping DRM protection from videos on iTunes

I have DRM protected .m4v files purchased via itunes. I've tried to strip the DRM using Aimersoft DRM Media Converter. The resulting .mkv plays fine, but it's not as clear or crisp as the original. Any thoughts on a better program to use?
