I am pretty much a novice on this process so any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to copy a blu ray movie onto a DVD-R disc which will be played on my Panasonic blu ray player. i used the steps outlined on guide "convert mkv to avchd for ps3 and blu ray.

I converted the original blu ray disc to a .mkv file using amerisoft blu ray ripper. Using this file I converted the .mkv file to avchd using TsmuxerGUI.exe. The AVC video defaulted to 3.0. I did not changed it from 3.0.

I burned the certificate and bdmv folders to a DVD-R disc using Imgburn, changing the udf to 2.5. After this was processed I received a complete notice with the accompanying chimes.

After all this the DVD could not be read by my blu ray player. Note, prior to beginning this I did confirm that my model of Panasonic player does support the avchd profile.

What step did I miss? Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated. After 3 days of attempts I'm about ready to quit but given my tenacious tendencies I probably won't until I have this figured out:). Help!
