Xbox freezes on Start Up

Watchin netflix through Xbox and it freezes. This is because it overheated due to games being on top of the fan (duh!!) Anyhow.... I turned it off, let it cool down fo several DAYS but it still freezes on startup, Is there any way to fix it or I have toasted (literally) the xbox.

Do you have a HDD installed? If so try without the HDD.Do games play ok with/without the HDD? If there are no Red ring errors and its just lockups it could point the the HDD been corrupt.If you can access the HDD before it freezes up clear all the crap out cache/cookies and unwanted games etc.Sometimes the freezing up is a pre warning of RROD before it happens but we need more info before any further help..
