got 2 ps3 my sons and mine both wireless if i am on and he signs in on his mine signs out and vice verser is this normal are do i have to have 1 wired

So we may need to clear things up a bit here. Are you saying simply connecting to psn on one disconects the other from psn? Or are you both trying to connect to same game server for multigame play?

If it is multigame play it will be because the game is trying to use same port for both ps3 systems. If that is the case you will need to do some port forwarding and will depend on the game in question for the ports. If it is simply connecting to psn disconnects one of them then your router might not be setup right. Do you have a router or is it one of those broadband modems with wifi build in?

Sounds like they might be trying to share the same IP address. Go here ~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610541 on how to either make each PS3 have a static ip and/or put 1 of your PS3's in a DMZ if needed.
