A question about Razer Orcas and PS3

Hi everyone. So i want to buy the Razer Orca Gaming and Music headset (yes, the bright green one :D ) but i also want to use it for gaming on my PS3 slim. However, the Orcas only have a 3.5mm jack and the PS3 doesn't have that jack so i was wondering if there was any other way to make them work with my PS3. I was thinking about a 3.5mm to USB cable-jack thing like this (this is JUST an example, im not buying this one. I'm just asking in general):

Does anyone have any idea if this type of device will work with the PS3? If not, is there any other way for the headset and PS3 to work together?
