Burning 720/1080P Blu-ray MKV files to DVD?

I'm using tsMuxer 1.10.6. Tried at least 4 times to get my MKV files burned to a DVD disc. I tried using both the "blu-ray disc" and "AVCHD disc" options in tsMuxer... both with no success. With the "blu-ray disc" option selected, after tsMuxer was done converting the MKV file, I burned both BMDV and CERTIFICATE folders to a DVD with imgburn. After that, I placed the DVD into my PS3, and the PS3 recognizes it as a "Data" disc... from there I could browse the contents of the folder and play the converted files made by tsMuxer. The DVD should play like a normal DVD though... which it doesn't, also, there were no chapters on the file either.
Then I tried the "AVCHD disc" option... did the same steps as mentioned above, and it seemed that the PS3 recognized the disc as a normal playable DVD disc. But, after waiting a couple of seconds, all I see is a black screen, but I can at-least hear the audio. This tells me that the disc is playable, but the PS3 isn't recognizing the video part of it.
Has anyone had this problem before, and know how to fix it?
