Hi.

I watch a lot of movies through my PS3. I download them from my pc to an external hard drive then watch them through my pc using the hard drive as a media player...Recently the word transcode has appeared at the bottom of my movie list when viewed on the tv through the PS3. When I look at the list on my computer it all looks normal so the problem has to be with the PS3. Any movies I now transfer from my pc goes under the transcode heading and shows a time of 9.59.99. If I try to watch any of these movies it says the data is corrupted. Also even if I have placed these movies in to a folder to keep them in alphabetic order they will still show under transcode with a play icon next to them instead of the folder icon. When I look at the same movies on my computer they show them in their folder in alphabetic order. I hope somebody understands what is going on.
