If anyone has been keeping up with this game Valve is saying the ps3 version will come with a steam copy.

However does this mean I can buy the game, give the steam version to my friend and play with him online without having to purchase an additional copy?

Valve said ps3 owners can play cop op online with pc or mac gamers and that ps3 will have a steam copy with but that sounds like we're getting two Portal 2 for 1 price! Would they really do that or is the Steam version just for backup?

So it sound like you technically can but you would have to link your friends steam account to your PSN account.
