Just purchased the Killzone 3 Bundle for PS3 and came with 3.50 Firmware. I want to upgrade to 3.55, but not doing it through the PS3 wants me to upgrade to 3.60. I need a site where I can download 3.55 version. I have googled and most sites have been Custom Firmware. Thanks for any help. I am new to all this so I hope I put this is right area.

Ok I did the update and lets me play the game, but when I tried to create a playstation network account it wants me to update. I created one online with my pc, but can't get into playstation network without the update.
And there is no need to post in other threads, just the single new thread will do. But there you go, link is above, also you do not have to downgrade 3.50 in order to install 3.55 since 3.55 is an upgrade.
If you are going to install kmeaw cfw, install ofw 3.55 then kmeaw 3.55
Also remember to go into the ps3 settings and disable automatic updates. Also remember you cannot go online with cfw.

Your SOL of your not wanting to upgrade to the latest FW. You have to have the newest one if you plan on playing online on PSN. I have not heard or read of any spoof or exploit to get on PSN with an old FW.

Well it depends what you want to do with your ps3.
1) Play official games online then only option atm if update to 3.60
2) Use linux, only available on 3.55 and below, but then no psn
3) backup games, only on cfw 3.55, but again no psn.

Ok Thanks right now I don't know if I want to go to CFW or not, but I would like to have the option. So don't want to do the update yet.
