Ah so the bundle has the larger HD and they are not going to have a separate SKU for it by itself?
Dunno. We shall see since all the info says is a 250gb has been submitted to the FCC and that's it but the 120gb is what is/will be available and is tangible in the "now".

If my current 60gig ever breaks, i will be getting the 250gig. The extra $100 will be worth it to me as i am too lazy to put in a larger HD myself.
Sony should have said that there would not be any WIFI in the slim, then let the boards light up about how that sucks, then "SIKE", IT does come with WIFI.
This si true but ad dollars go to it and that takes money, only if they sale 1M or more of the larger units will they really make money off it..

I see your point. Is there much of a difference in the cost of a 120gig and a 250gig to someone like Sony. I know it is to us but we are paying the price of the device + middle man + retail

i will never understand why a big retailer has to go through a warehouse to buy its games anyway. Why wont companys just ship to the retailer?

Then the pirate selling games relabeled Assassins Creed 1 and called it Assassins Creed 2. This is called marketing.
Your friend is honest and thinks she plays AC2 on a PS3. In reality she is playing AC1 on a PS2.

Because shipping direct to retailers from a central location often takes longer and costs more than having regional distributors handle it. Unless a manufacturer sets up their OWN regional distribution centers, often the cost of the "middle man" distributor is irrelevant.
I think we should all just take a moment to think about this. A 250GB video game console. OMG. 250GB is more than the world has ever seen for a video gaming system. This is above and beyond, folks! This here is the most advanced piece of gaming that we have ever seen!

Eh, i upgraded my MSG PS3 to 500gb, so it's not a big deal. It's not hard at all, any notebook (2.5") hdds will do.
