I'd love a quad-core 3.2GHZ phone (with a few TB of storage) as much as anyone, but I know that there are people in the US & Canada who would love to have a Dell phone, no matter how much of a POS it was.

So we sell our crap in China and they sell their crap here.. sounds like common sense wasting all that energy shipping crap from China (where it's assembled from Chinese components) to the US where it probably has a Mexican printed box put on it by illegals.. and then shipping it all the way back.. Superb!!
Why the hell do we even care what is or isn't sold in a non-free state? We shouldn't deal with this scummy repressive regime at all until they change their ways... oh.. but we are way too damn greedy for their cheap electronics which make our big corporations even richer to let a little thing like ethics get in the way.

I'm sorry, I count at least three regimes that fit that description that are related to this. Do you mean the bipartison party, Dell, or China?

LOL!!!
I just think that Dell feels it might not be able to compete with Apple and RIM and i think they're right they can't. Anyone remember Axim?

I see a lot of ignorance here.
It's like some people never realized China's existence until Dell planned on selling a phone there. Do you not see that everything you use here is made in China? Are you suprised that an electronics company wants to penetrate the largest population in the world?
First of all, China today is not exactly communist. Second, did you all forget that your very capitalist country is in debt in trillions to the so called communists?
If our economy has crashed and we need to borrow money from communists, what does that tell you about which economical system is better?
I am not big fan of Dell or anything but I think it's totally stupid to hate on a company just for selling something in China.
By the way I am not Chinese or Asian for that matter.

Editor.
All kinds of Ophone will support both GSM and TD-SCDMA. So you can use it in EU or USA.
