people who actually can respect a developer for putting his/her time into an app that they use, which they could not do them selves?

Which is not very many people these days. Especially the young like me. I don't have an iPod Touch or an iPhone but everyone I know with one has it jailbroken with free apps. I don't know anyone who has payed for 1 app.

If I had one, I would most likely jailbreak it just because but I really don't see the appeal of apps compared to a PSP or anything else, and the iPod sound quality is definitely not top, which is all that matters to me.

fair enough. and TBH i cant say anything against that, as a few years ago i would pirate anythign (lack of funds ftw(!)) but since money isnt too much of a problem now, i do tend to buy what i feel is worth it, which surprisingly is quite a bit.

[b] it doesnt matter cuz you can get a FREE apk installer app of the android market and then google the games or apps you want and then install then on your phone for FREE example say you want assassins creed simply google assassinscreed.apk torrent use limewire or another p2p program to download it, then connect your phone to your computer viz usb, mount your phon and transfer the file to your phone and install using the free apk installer. Viola! free games! screw gameloft! all their games for phones are horrible anyways ( assassins creed prince of persia, deblob etc... ) . and most people will pirate them anyways. you can do pretty much the same thing on the iphone! Its all about money. The can sell more on the iphone in turn larger profits. Although, if Android does grow at an alarming rate, and different delopers deside to stick it out with them, they very well could surpass gameloft. Its like the stockmarket, whos gonna grow more, and faster

More reason for someone to figure out how to rip games off of their iPhones, and make an emulator for Android. Then we can get their crappy games for free, just to laugh at them.

I haven't seen a decent phone of any type worth paying money to game on...

Controls on all phones are substandard for anything close to an action game compared to a DS or PSP.
