It appears that the Google Nexus One smartphone may not be the only wild card the search engine giant has up its sleeve as the Washington Post is reporting that the company is creating a Chrome OS Netbook as well. To google: It is bad enough that you are selling anetbook that will need to be hacked to make it run a good OS...please don't stick some ARM chip in there; it isn't a cell phone.

You'll have to remember this is really an Internet appliance more so than a netbook, so the ARM CPU will be a good choice. Just hope they don't get stingy with RAM and the GPU.
