Why is Microsoft so late with things on IE? I don't get it. Software is their major, their losing IE users in large numbers. They better start reinventing IE and think outside of the box.

BullShit. Like reinvent some new incompatible web standards? Screw up things for web designers a little more? Push them to take care of crapware-compatibility just a little more? All I'm wishing for IE is "burn, baby, burn"

I don't see anything wrong with advancement...according to your argument, hardware/game console manufacturers should not make any improvements, advancements, and make it so much harder for game developers that need to re-design and improve everything.

He is arguing that IE doesn't follow web standards very well, and sometimes tried to invent it's own. His argument is spot on.

Im not concerned about tabs and such, as much as view security on a web browsr and ill be damned if im using a browser with holes in security and copying other browser's features. They need sonething ORIGINAL, not rehashing the same old crap over again. Thats why i use opera/firefox cause its faster and they are able to fix ulnerabilities a hell of alot quicker. - BLUEBOY

Right on. I wish they could scrap IE and make a new browser that works! Very frustrating to design something that works in Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, etc. and NOT IE!

Is it a case of too many cooks spoil the broth? Is that why Microsloth has problems with software products, too many wanting to push their own barrow, wanting their own way and not really working together. MS basic was a basic program That the founder of MS bought the rights to, and developed a little, and went on from there. In a large organization, people have their own agenda, and if they can't get their own way, who can guess what they may do to any software development, who checks ALL THE CODE of each and every program, we have heard about back-doors to programs, whether accidental or deliberate, who knows who wrote what in such a large program, and for how long are products tested and checked before release? Just my rant.

The problem here is the software patent.
I'm sure Neowin supports this 100%. Stupid Windows fanboys.
