According to an Impress report, the Apple iPhone owns about 46 percent of the entire Japanese smartphone market, with the iPhone 3GS controlling 21.4 percent and the older iPhone 3G controlling 24.6 percent. looks like they are only using data from the fourth and fifth carriers in share. Where is the data from the big carriers. Seems like a strange data set to base assumptions on. Like using T-Mobile data alone to judge which smartphone is most popular.
