Beginning tomorrow, the Apple iPhone will finally launch in Israel, with carrier Cellcom being the first carrier to offer the device. Within the next week, Orange and Pelephone will offer the smartphone as well. wierd thing is there is just no pricing for the phone anywhere..would you update when you have the information?

I've just read it will cost about 800 shekels with contract, so around $200 USD.

I guess they are more used to explosions over there; they don't mind if their phone blows up once in a while...so it should sell even better there than in the US.
