According to unnamed executives familiar with the situation, Netflix is preparing to bring its "Watch Instantly" streaming service to the Nintendo Wii and the Apple iPhone/iPod Touch via Wi-Fi. If they bring the service to the wII and the iPod, while still blocking the PS3, I think my head will explode! Then again, this is not the first rumor about deploying the service on new platforms...in the past is has mostly just been hot air. I especialy doubt that it would work on the iPod, as the videos are currently locked to Silverlight, and the iPod won't run silverlight any time soon according to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
