Sonic Solutions has announced that will begin selling USB drives loaded with movies that are available through their CinemaNow service, at retail price, beginning later this year. The drives will each hold one film, and will come from the CinemaNow library, which offers over 10,000 films from all the major studios. hmmm...interesting idea. I may be inclined to buy a movie this way. If the very likely DRM crippling isnt involved.

So, I'm guessing it would only run in Roxios own container? Whatever that is.

Were they to offer a high quality copy that could be freely converted I think it may work. Assuming its on a 4 gig stick it may actually be a good deal.

a Movies on the go service would be better. have like a kiosk let people pick a movie they like and stick a thumb drive in the kiosk to download it to.

maybe in the next 50 years
