Starz has announced the VOD release of the Rob Zombie film The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, testing a new method in which the company debuts the films via on-demand weeks before it premiers in theaters or on DVD.
The film will cost $6.99 USD however, if customers choose to watch it earlier.

"Test" nothing, their doing what P2P File Sharing programs do and or when people use camcorders an-_- god they know what the general responce will be people will pay the money to just sit at home and watch it...I kinda have a bad feeling with this for some reason.
I'm not sure where I stand on this exactly as to the effects it will have on movie sales & etc. but I will say this, if I can see a new movie in HD with proper surround in the comfort of my own home and save the $30+ of theater prices with some extras PLUS not having to deal with random idiots in public then....hmmm, where do I sign up?
