Lord Mandelson has announced this week that the UK will in fact be adopting the highly controversial 'three strikes' Internet piracy law, disconnecting multiple time offenders from the Internet while levying heavy fines. haven`t you seen this coming? people are so used to downloading for free! films, music, games of all formats ....well now there forcing the isp`s to rat you out or else! i can see why talk talk arnt happy :( Recessions hitting the uk and there tightening there belts, i have been riding the rainbow like the rest of you, but it coming to an end, iam sorry to say.

Personally i think your ISP should have nothing to do with what you do on the internet there job is to provide a connection not to moniter what you use the internet for.technically im a UK citizen even though i live in Australia do these new laws apply to me.If you can download it for free from a website whos got the right to tell you its illegal????

AFTER WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN FRANCE WITH THEIR OWN PRESIDENT, HAVING TWO STRIKE WARNINGS, FOR BREACHING THEIR OWN THREE STRIKES RULE, DOES THAT MEAN ONE MORE STRIKE AND HE WILL GET BANNED, I DONT THINK SO, MONEY TALKS, THEY ARE ALLOWED TO BREAK THEIR OWN RULING, AFTER ALL POLITICANS ARE ABOVE US MERE MORTALS, AND THE SAME RULING WILL APPLY HERE IN THE UK, OUR GOVERMENT ARE WELL KNON FOR BREAKING THEIR OWN RULES

If you're going to shout, Mikyplum, make sure it makes sense. I love a good rant but I couldn't really figure out what your point was. Politicians are bad, so what's original about that?
