Verizon has released apps for Android and Windows Mobile users today that will allow smartphone users to use their phones as remote controls for FiOS TVs. The remotes can navigate playback, schedule DVR programming, and set parental controls. or they could just put a cIR module in it and then you can control just about any TV you want, but that would be too simple.
