The BBC iPlayer is set to have its own Nintendo Wii channel very soon, says Erik Huggers, BBC director of Future Media & Technology. The popular TV service was available through the Wii's Internet browser but the new dedicated channel will offer full-screen support and an easier to use interface. I have the iPlayer on my PS3 and it's absolutely amazing. Fair enough all I can watch is the BBC related stuff but the quality is pretty much DVD standard. Oh and TvShack on my web browser :D

We'll see how this goes. I love the work the BBC does in comparison to some of the media establishments over here in the states.
