Okay, so I was recording my desktop using Cam Studio (for 25-35 minutes) and I saved the video. But when I saved, the program stopped responding (which always happens), so while I waited I was going to do something else. I opened a window (e.g. My Computer), but it didn't open right.

Basically, my computer started going haywire. Everything (including CTRL+ALT+DEL) stopped working, and the clock in the bottom right hand corner froze.

After waiting over 30 minutes, I decided to shut my computer off. Upon turning it back on, I was left with an .AVI file that is 1.98 GB, but doesn't play right. It doesn't work in WMP at all, and in VLC it only plays the first 1:15 seconds out of roughly 30 (and it doesn't allow me to skip head).

I tried putting the file in virtual dub, but it again only shows me the first 1:15 (and eventually crashes). If anyone knows how to repair this file, I would be most appreciative.
